Project Description
Synergy won 1st Place for ” Best Room Addition” on this project! The project was submitted to a contest called the “Star Awards” held by the Wake County Home Builder’s Association. The project included a master bedroom suite, laundry, dining room extension, and basement storage areas. A Large bolder was encountered at the foundation. It was too large to move inexpensively, so a decision was made to leave it there, and build an engineered footing over it. The result was that the owners got an unexpected concrete work bench in their storage area!
